SANGUIS IMPEREM, one of the underground's most violent upstarts, releases their highly anticipated debut album. Aptly titled, In Glory We March Towards Our Doom sees the Californian quartet moving from their war metaled beginnings toward a more morbid maturity, patiently plying their violence with greater focus and fiercer results. Dynamic yet breathing the breath of doom, barbaric blackness with astounding songwriting, SANGUIS IMPEREM force the listener on an endless deathmarch - who will be left to survey the carnage?
Recommended for diehards of GRAVE MIASMA/GOAT MOLESTOR, CEMETERY URN, TEITANBLOOD, and early NECROS CHRISTOS.

Sanguis Imperem was formed during the waning months of 2006 by R.S. and S.S. Under this line-up, the MMVII demo was released in June of 2007. The demo was well received within the underground and gave people a glimpse of the Death Metal Tyranny that is Sanguis Imperem. Coinciding this release, was the first appearance of the Holocaust Wolves of the Apocalypse (Bestial Warlust worship, with D. Bloodstorm of Bestial Warlust and Sanguis Imperem) in what would later be described as "A supreme and furious set of wrath and terror". J.G.'s recruitment on drums during this period raised the band to a higher level of ferocity and oppression that was previously unattainable as a two-piece.
Recording commenced for "The Stagnation of Centuries" mcd in March of 2008 and was released through the band's own Glorious Assault label in late May. Live performances to promote the release began in June with 3 week "Blood of the Damned" US tour, supporting such bands as Angelcorpse, Cemetery Urn, Gospel of the Horns and Ares Kingdom. As well as a reawakening of the infamous Holocaust Wolves of the Apocalypse to play select shows. J.V., a friend of S.S. and R.S. since 1991, was living in Colorado at the time of the 2008 tour and came out to see them play in the middle of the Rocky Mountains at the yearly event known as "The Gathering of Shadows" Within minutes of reuniting with their childhood comrade a new alliance was formed and J.V. pledged to move back to California and join SI. Now with a full line-up, and the contributions musically, lyrically and vocally of J.V., SI began work on it's next release. The "Imperial Impurity" Split with Nocturnal Blood on Nuclear War Now! Prod. was recorded in April of 2009 and released on vinyl in April of 2010. Live performances to promote the release began after being contacted by Australia's Portal to support them on the California leg of their "Crawling Chaos" US tour. Later that year, Sanguis Imperem reunited with Cemetery Urn for the "Western US Torment" tour, which saw the devastation of several cities throughout the western coast. In March of 2011, an alliance was formed with Ireland's Invictus Productions and the U.S. Hells Headbangers Records to release their debut "In Glory We March Towards Our Doom" full-length recording...Death Awaits!
