DRUNKEN BASTARDS started in 2004 by Blizz and Pete Fire. Their aim was to play old style punk influenced metal without compromises. They had many ideas but the first full-length, called "Posercrusher" released in 2006 as the first release of Hungarian old-school metal label Metal Or Die Records. Although that album wasn't a masterpiece the bangers of hell liked it and sold-out quite fast by the label. In 2007 the band played their first live show to support japanese kamikaze metal/punk band BARBATOS. In the same year a limited live split CD had been released to pay tribute to the common show.

In 2009 the band took part in part two of the Fantomania split series with a full new line-up (again, only Blizz and Pete remained in the band). After the recordings of Fantomania, Blizz and Pete decided to work with a new line up, because of musical differences with the previous one. Luckily the second half of 2009 they found the right members with serious attitudes, among them legendary bionic drummer, D-beat Hasselhoff who is a frequent collaborator with noise legend MERZBOW and other radical extreme music acts. On 2nd guitars the Infernal Pangasius took over, who is a true phenomenon in the nightlife of Budapest, not to mention the Evil Skeletonizer who kicks ass with bass lines, and kicking basically anyones ass when it comes to fistfights.

This line-up played their first show with MUNICIPAL WASTE later to be released as a split CD with Mexican thrash n' roll bandits ROTTEN. Many shows followed, among others a mini tour with MORBOSIDAD in Hungary. The mentioned split CD with ROTTEN was the band's last release on Metal Or Die Records. In the meantime DRUNKEN BASTARDS have recorded the second full-length album "Horns Of The Wasted" and signed to US based label Hells Headbangers Records.
