| OVERVIEW: |
|
After ten years of several EP and demo outputs, Crucified Mortals release their first full-length album. Comprised of eleven horror tales transcribed into metallic hymns the album continues the band's haunting style with their best tracks to date. The record compiles a diverse range of tracks which satisfies the ear's craving for speed, heavy and memorable riffing complimented with harsh angry vocals and pounding drums. A truly unique style of Thrash and Death metal, this self-titled album combines the elements of both genres to create it's own appalling sound.

Started by Reaper in 2001 Crucified Mortals began with a recording of a demo entitled "Hung Out To Die". Following the release of the demo the band went through numerous member changes, but along the course recorded two demos. With the addition of drummer Sebastian Dzialuk in 2003 another demo was recorded and the sound of Crucified Mortals had been found. Accompanied by session musicians Novy (Vader, Behemoth, etc.) on bass and Zack Rose on second Guitar "Converted By Decapitation" was recorded early 2004 then later released on August 13, 2004. Following the debut release Guitarist Adamizer joined the band and the "Figure in Black" demo and shortly after "Kill Upon Command" 7" EP were recorded in early 2005. After the departure of Adamizer in late 2005 Zack Rose joined the band permanently. "Impious Trilogy" was recorded in 2006 but did not see a release until 2008. Plans had been made for a split 7" release with Japan's FASTKILL, March 2007 the material for the split was recorded and later in 2008 was released under the title "Ghastly Affliction". After nearly 3 years of planning, the "Figure in Black" demo was to finally be released on a split 10" with one of the band's influences DECEASED. After a few years of writing, recording & demoing the debut self-titled album has finally been released on March 15, 2011 by Hells Headbangers Records!
