"This is the way death metal needs and was meant to be played, just brutal in-your-face fury and power... This is one of the best death metal bands I have heard this year" - Metalcorefanzine.com
Shaking up the increasingly complacent bestial metal scene in 2008 with their "Sign of Doom" debut, Brazilian beasts GRAVE DESECRATOR return to bury the still-standing with their second and latest album, "Insult." Foregoing fifth-generation clones of newer hordes, GRAVE DESECRATOR drive deep into the roots of South American darkness with nuclear-powered blackgrind rife with psychotic solos and eldritch dread, all whilst never losing sight of "song" over "chaos." Full-moon rituals and alcoholic rites - GRAVE DESECRATOR spit the gravest "Insult"! Recommended for diehards of VULCANO, early SEPULTURA, SARCOFAGO, and early MYSTIFIER.

GRAVE DESECRATOR took form in 1998 by Valak Necrogoat (as guitarist) and F.Mordor (voices). Both had played in some other previous acts without any result. Soon after, Butcherazor (as bassist) joined the sect. Many drummers were involved but none were interested enough to continue with the band.
By October 31st 2001, with the help of L.Pagani "Demo 01" was recorded and later released by Necrogoat's tape label Swords and Leather Records (RIP). About 1,000 copies were spread around the world and Brasil. No fucking gigs as no drummer as well!!
With the help of Adrameleck (ex- Nocturnal Worshipper, Apokalyptic Raids, Sodomizer etc..) on drums in 2003, GRAVE DESECRATOR unleashed the "Cult of Warfare and Darkness" 7" EP through German label Ketzer Records. Only 500 hand-numbered copies were pressed, few which featured real blood splatter. A limited edition cassette of this EP also surfaced through Brazilian label Hellspike Records & featured bonus rehearsal songs.
Several interviews and reviews worldwide increased the interest for this infamous Brazilian Black/Death act! Some years after, the band got into personal problems and had to stop for a while only to return early 2006 for some rehearsals to record their much awaited debut album "Sign of Doom" for Ketzer Records. Adrameleck was recruited again and the songs started to rise from the depths!! The result was pure cruel barbarism in the form of 10 fucking songs mixed by L.Pagani in Brazil and mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One studios in Germany.
Soon after the recording sessions, F.Mordor got into problems with other members and was fired. Butcherazor took on vocal duties & switched to guitar since Necrogoat moved over to bass. A new bastard known as Black Sin and Damnation was recruited as second guitarist.
By 2010 the band unleashed a new 7" EP entitled "Primordial And Repulsive" through American label Hells Headbangers Records, followed by a split 7" EP with CATACUMBA on German label Necromancer Records. By the end of the year, the band toured Europe & released their highly anticipated second album entitled "Insult" through Hells Headbangers Records for North/South America & Ketzer Records for Europe. You've been warned!!!!!!!!!!!!
